chönne cho — the final verbs the other way round
The rule
When several verbs stack up at the end, the auxiliary or modal comes first and the verb carrying the meaning comes last: «Ich ha nöd chönne cho», where German says «… kommen können». The same in a subordinate clause: «…, dass si hät müesse schaffe».
Ich ha nöd chönne cho.
Ich habe nicht kommen können.
Si hät müesse schaffe.
Sie hat arbeiten müssen.
Mir händ s Velo lah flicke.
Wir haben das Fahrrad flicken lassen.
Where it catches you
Understanding it is easy — the words are the same. Use the German order («cho chönne») and you will be understood, but you will sound like Standard German with Zurich words in it.
